Cupping uses a cup to pull an area of skin into a suction that decompresses muscles and connective tissue. This promotes blood flow to the compromised area, enhances circulation and helps to increase the body's own healing processes — almost like a backward deep tissue massage. The suction promotes increased blood circulation, which may help relieve muscle tension, promote cell repair, and aid in other regeneration.

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed massage tables and cushions are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen. Please ask your physician if it would be safe for you to have a prenatal massage, as there are some women who should not have massages while they are pregnant. Massage is only recommended after you are at least 17 weeks along.
